IDC wins DR contract for eight military hospitals in Pakistan

Imaging Dynamics Company (IDC) has started installing the X-Series 2200 DR systems in eight A-Class military hospitals as contracted by the government of Pakistan. The contract was recognized by IDC in the fourth quarter of 2007.

The X-Series uses IDC’s third generation of digital x-ray technology, which provides high quality images using low dose and has a very low cost of ownership compared to traditional film x-ray technology, the Calgary, Alberta-based company said.

IDC said it is working in conjunction with its regional partner Meximp Technologies for delivery and ongoing service and support of the contract.

The X-Series 2200 utilizes proprietary CCD-based technology that is the result of more than 10 years of engineering research and development, IDC said.
