Illinois hospital installs Quantum?s Q-Rad Digital

Quantum Medical Imaging has installed a second dual-panel Q-Rad-Digital Ceiling-Mounted system, which included Canon digital panels, at St. Anthony’s Hospital, located in Effingham, Ill.

The sale and installation was facilitated by Interstate X-Ray, according to the Long Island, N.Y.-based Quantum.

An additional feature to the system’s configuration included TechVision, a complete two-way generator integration and image preview with all Canon Digital Systems.

The first Quantum DQ Dual panel system was installed in the emergency department and the second was installed in the main department.

The Q-Rad-Digital Ceiling-Mounted system uses a tiered telescoping column with overhead horizontal and transverse track to provide for complete flexibility and virtually unlimited imaging procedures.

Q-Rad-Digital systems are designed for hospital emergency rooms, imaging centers and orthopedic facilities which demand not only high quality, but maximum flexibility, in order to accommodate all types of imaging exams, according to Quantum.
