Illinois hospital renews Emageon contract

Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, Ill., has renewed its agreement with Emageon of Birmingham, Ala., until 2013.

Emageon said that Lake Forest, which has been its PACS customer since 2001, is using its enterprise content management, viewing software (advanced visualization) and professional services.

Lake Forest Hospital is a fully licensed 215-bed community hospital offering a range of services that are staffed by 625 physicians, with offices throughout Lake County, Ill.
