Interbit signs 36 new customers

Interbit Data Inc. of Natick, Mass. and provider of secure access to information in the Meditech Hospital Information System have signed 36 new customers in the second quarter of 2004.

Interbit credits demand for its data access and distribution product for increasing sales 40 percent in the same quarter in 2003 and a 57 percent over the first quarter of 2004.

As more medical facilities that use the Meditech system learn about the benefits of offering remote access and secure report distribution to their client community, sales of the NetSolutions products has substantially increased, said Interbit.

The new clients include a cross section of major hospitals, community hospitals, and medical centers all over the United States.
