Iowa Health System installs McKesson PACS

Health IT developer McKesson has installed its Horizon Medical Imaging PACS in the Iowa Health System in Des Moines.

The Atlanta-based company said the upgrade will transfer archived Iowa Health System data throughout all of its 34 hospitals and clinics and offer a restructured workflow amongst its facilities.

The Horizon Medical Imaging PACS is currently operating in Des Moines, Qaud Cities, Fort Dodge, Sioux City and Waterloo, and will be operational in the Cedar Rapids and Dubuque facilities by the end of this year, according to the company.
