KishHealth System taps Agfa for DR

KishHealth System has selected Agfa HealthCare’s DX-D 500 direct radiography x-ray suite for two of its hospitals.

Both Kishwaukee Community Hospital, DeKalb, Ill., and Valley West Community Hospital, Sandwich, Ill., will implement the system to allow radiographers to preview images and complete studies in a limited number of steps, and then return to the patient, resulting in shorter exam times, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT platforms.
