La. radiology practice taps McKesson for revenue management

Radiology Associates has partnered with McKesson for medical billing and practice management services.

The 14-physician partnership in Baton Rouge, La. aims to use McKesson Revenue Management Solutions to stay current with the latest regulatory requirements, while improving coding accuracy rates and minimizing lost revenues. With more oversight and auditing of the charge capture process, the group expects to reduce denials, increase cash collections and mitigate regulatory risk, according to Atlanta-based McKesson.

The software provides web-based business intelligence and reporting tools.
