Matroxs Xenia to drive Carestream rad workstations

Carestream Health has chosen Matrox Graphics' Xenia Series display controller boards to drive a round of the company's PACS and mammography deployments. Carestream made the announcement at the 96th annual scientific meeting of the Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago.

Xenia and Xenia Pro display controller boards provide triple digital display support from a single slot PCI express board, with forward- and backward-compatibility. According to Montreal-based Matrox, the Xenia Series enable image resolutions of up to 8MP and include 1GB of on-board memory. The display controller boards will be part of Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream's vendor neutral PACS and mammography workstations.
