MCN inks Westchester deal

Regulatory and compliance software developer MCN Healthcare said that Westchester Medical Center of Valhalla, N.Y., has chosen to deploy its ellucid software platform. The new web-based application will be implemented to aid in streamlining the facility’s policy and procedure management process across its 1,100-bed campus, according to the Denver-based MCN.

The ellucid Policy Manager application enables import and upload of existing documents to an on-line format. Staff can then review, edit, share, and approve documents from any location. Policy Manager can be integrated with MCN’s online policy library containing 82 manuals and more than 17,000 compliant-ready policies, procedures and forms, the company said.
