MedHost notches Bermuda sales

The Bermuda Hospitals Board has introduced MedHost’s emergency department information system at its King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and the new Lamb Foggo Urgent Care Centre at Paget Parish and St. David's, Bermuda, respectively.

According to the Addison, Texas-based developer, its emergency department information system features include a patient tracking module that offers real-time notifications about each patient’s status, a charge capture feature that calculates charges as care is documented and risk-mitigation tools, such as allergy checking and drug interaction alerts.
