MedHost provides software for Montana emergency department

MedHost, a medical software services provider, has automated the emergency department of Kalispell Regional Medical Center (KRMC) in Kalispell, Mont. with its emergency department information system (EDIS) full-suite software.

KRMC staffs more than 1,500 employees and houses approximately 150 beds.

The Addison, Texas-based MedHost said its interface enabled Kalispell to communicate between clinical areas, including radiology and the lab, while giving clinicians and staff access to test results, reports and orders. MedHost also its EDIS software provides the capability to customize and build on existing charting templates.
