MGH, Agfa ink deal
Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston has added Agfa HealthCare’s Impax Data Center and also intends to upgrade to Impax PACS version 6.5 as the hospital expands its relationship with the Mortsel, Belgium-based healthcare IT vendor.
MGH’s imaging clinical information system (ICIS) is built upon the Impax Data Center platform and allows clinicians to capture, store, exchange and access imaging information on a variety of web-enabled devices. Impax 6.5 also supports Agfa’s Xero viewer platform.
