Midwest health system selects Misys EMR products

Provena Health will utilize Misys Healthcare Systems products to assist point-of-care patient safety and maintain accurate data via instant access to EMRs.

Provena has will host Misys EMR and Misys Tiger through Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Ill, the company said. Provena Health has also purchased Misys Homecare, which will be used among its network of home health nurses, according to the Raleigh, N.C.-based Misys.

Provena Health, a 1,800 physician Catholic health system based in Mokena, Ill., includes six hospitals, 16 long-term care and senior residential facilities, 28 clinics, five home health agencies and other health-related activities in Illinois and Indiana.
