N.C. surgical center selects Wolters Kluwer for health IT software

Atlantic Surgicenter in Wilmington, N.C., has selected Wolters Kluwer Health’s ProVation MD software for gastroenterology procedure documentation and coding, as well as its ProVation EHR system.

ProVation EHR offers electronic documentation and document imaging from past records to procedure documentation and follow-up care, according to Wolters Kluwer, of Minneapolis.

ProVation MD will replace dictation and transcription at Atlantic Surgicenter, and will allow physicians to document procedures at the point of care and produce coding-ready procedure notes, the company added.
