NeuroLogica scores Colts contract

NeuroLogica announced that the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL), in partnership with Clarian Health Partners, will adopt its CereTom portable CT scanner for on-site rapid assessment and diagnosis of head injuries during the 2007 NFL season.

According to the Danvers, Mass.-based company, CereTom produces high-quality images of the head and neck to diagnose various brain injuries and brain bleeds, as well as injuries occurring in the extremities.

Neurologica said the CereTom will also be available to visiting teams to the Colts’ home field, should players sustain an injury at the RCA Dome.
