Neurostar nets 200th install

PACS and teleradiology systems developer Neurostar Solutions has deployed its Virtual Radiology Network at Chatham Radiology Group.

The Savannah, Ga.-based radiology group provides image reading services for a large Savannah hospital as well as for four additional community hospitals. The group now uses Neurostar's web-based Virtual Radiology Network system to bring electronic medical images to the radiologists. The system connects to multiple facilities from any location, providing quick turnaround of reads for all facilities, regardless of staff location.

Furthermore, Neurostar's Virtual Radiology Network provides Chatham Radiology Group with access to other imaging groups for nighthawk reading services to ensure daytime and nighttime coverage.

Neurostar said the installation of its Virtual Radiology Network is the 200th to date.
