NextGen's California customer base grows

NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems, has entered into an agreement with Gardner Family Health Network to deploy NextGen Ambulatory EHR and NextGen Practice Management, as well as QSI [Quality System, Inc.] Dental System.

The EHR and QSI Dental System should allow the facilities across Gardner’s enterprise to create a single record that follows a patient throughout the care process, according to the Horsham, Pa.-based company, which noted that Gardner is the 42nd health center in California to deploy NextGen technologies.

NextGen Practice Management is scheduled to be implemented across Gardner’s Santa Clara communities by late June, and the first health center slated to be live on NextGen Ambulatory EHR by the end of the year, NextGen said.
