NovaRad installs its PACS in Yuma District Hospital

Yuma (Colo.) District Hospital has purchased NovaRad Corp.'s NovaPACS, designed for small to mid-sized facilities.

The picture archiving and communications system (PACS) will eliminate the need for film and archive stored film as digital files at the 22-bed facility. The hospital also purchased an Xpress CR system from Konica Minolta Medical Imaging USA Inc. through NovaRad.

All NovaRad systems are HIPAA-compliant, open and scalable, operate on Windows software and housed on off-the-shelf hardware.
