NovaRad nets new RIS/PACS contracts

Hospitals in Mississippi and Wyoming have selected NovaRad's NovaRIS and NovaPACS software for installation at their facilities.

Covington Community Hospital in Collins, Miss., and Memorial Hospital of in Rawlins, Wyo., are the two hospitals installing NovaRad’s NovaRIS and NovaPACS.

NovaPACS is offers fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with seven-year, onsite archive with offsite emergency backup. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to give referring physicians access to images and reports from any computer. Developed on the same platform as NovaPACS, NovaRIS generates reports, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records, the company said.
