NovaRad wins NovaPACS installs at two Nebraska hospitals

Radiology departments at two Nebraska hospitals have recently gone filmless with NovaRad Corp.'s NovaPACS.

Kimball Health Services, a 20-bed critical access hospital in Kimball, Neb., purchased NovaRad's radiology information system, NovaRIS, in addition to NovaPACS.

The NovaPACS installation at the 25-bed St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point will interface with the facility's existing RIS, said NovaRad.

Cost and features were prominent factors behind hospitals' decision in purchasing the NovaPACS system.
