Ohio hospital chooses CareTech

Dec. 4—The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati has signed a multi-year, IT infrastructure outsourcing contract with CareTech Solutions, a healthcare IT and health information management services provider for hospitals and health systems.

The Troy, Mich.-based CareTech said it will provide the hospital with IT infrastructure outsourcing, help desk services and web services. The financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The Christ Hospital is a 555-bed, not-for-profit acute care hospital, offering services in cardiovascular care, spine treatment, women's health, major surgery, cancer, behavioral medicine, orthopedics, emergency care and kidney transplant.
