Onrad expands QA offerings

Onrad is expanding the scope of its quality assurance program by introducing its Turnkey Radiology Peer Review Solution for radiology departments and practices.

Turnkey's Quality Assurance Committee reviews a random sample of radiology reports on a quarterly basis to perform an internal evaluation of physician group performance and individual physician quality. The committee consists of six members, five of whom rotate, with the goal of making sure that radiologists continue their education to expand their expertise, according to Alix Vincent, CEO of Onrad Medical Group. The committee reviews the reports via physician-to-physician communication, Onrad said.

Riverside, Calif.-based Onrad provides radiology services, including teleradiology, on-site radiology and quality assurance programs.
