Orion Health integration system chosen by Indiana hospital

Marion General Hospital (MGH) in Marion, Ind., has selected Orion Health’s Rhapsody integration engine to manage message exchanges from a central system.

MGH is a 125-bed facility, which houses an auxiliary staff of more than 1,300, who are teamed with more than 100 physicians. In addition to its central hospital, MGH has a presence in 19 other healthcare facilities throughout Indiana.

According to the New Zealand-based Orion, implementing Rhapsody will allow MGH transparent data-exchange for its end-users, both internally and externally, without needing to replace its existing systems.
