Orion tapped for New Brunswick EHR

Healthcare information system developer Orion Health said that the New Brunswick Department of Health has selected it to provide a province-wide EHR system. Orion Health products, including its Concerto, clinical data repository, provider registry, and Rhapsody integration engine will provide physicians with access to patient health records throughout the province.

The Santa Monica, CA-based firm said that more than 740,000 people live in the Canadian province of New Brunswick, with 1,232 practicing physicians in practice. Orion reported that steps are being taken now to prepare for deployment of the EHR.
