Pennsylvania health system installs Allocade app
PinnacleHealth of Harrisburg, Pa., has installed Allocade’s On-Cue system, alongside a recently installed Aquilion One Dynamic Volume CT from Toshiba America Medical Systems.
The 546-bed PinnacleHealth installed the On-Cue software solution in the CT department, which consists of three different control rooms separated by five floors, as well as in the emergency department.
The Menlo Park, Calif.-based Allocade said its On-Cue is a software solution that enables hospitals to reclaim any unused capacity by automating the manual patient flow process and rescheduling CT exams in real time as conditions change. The Aquilion One enables physicians to see an organ’s structure, movement and blood flow, while reducing multiple exposures to radiation and exam time.
