Premier inks deal with Infinitt

Infinitt North American and Premier healthcare alliance have signed a national agreement.

The agreement, which goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2012, ensures that Premier's 2,500 hospital member facilities and 78,000 non-hospital healthcare sites will have access to Infinitt's web-based RIS/PACS, cardiology PACS, orthopedic PACS, mammography PACS, dental PACS and advanced visualization systems. Infinitt's Enterprise Image Management Solutions run on a single database with single sign-on capability, the Phillipsburg, N.J.-based company said.

Xelis, Infinitt's advanced visualization software, can be used with the Infinitt PACS or independently, and provides technologies for clinical applications (CT colonoscopy with colon CAD, cardiac vessel analysis, lung nodule detection and PET/CT/MR fusion).
