ProHEALTH selects GE Healthcare for EMR, other services

ProHEALTH Care Associates, a New York multi-specialty patient-care organization, serving more than 750,000 patients annually, has selected GE Healthcare’s Centricity electronic medical record solution to streamline its practice and patient-care management functions.

The Barrington, Ill.-based ProHEALTH said it also selected GE’s RIS and billing IT solutions, Centricity electronic data interchange services and GE’s Discovery PET/CT.

The investments, along with prior equipment acquisitions, have streamlined operations, improved care and consolidated technology under one portfolio of GE services, according to GE.
