ProVation scores orthopedic install
ProVation Medical Inc. will deploy its ProVation MD Orthopedics clinical procedure documentation and coding compliance software at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. The 985-bed hospital has used ProVation MD Gastroenterology software since February 2003.
ProVation MD software replaces dictation/transcription, automating the coding and billing process. The software allows clinicians to quickly document medical procedures and apply the appropriate CPT and ICD codes, as well as CCI edits.
The Beaumont Orthopedic surgery service at Royal Oak offers complex joint surgery, shoulder, hand, foot and ankle surgeries, orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, tumor orthopedic and pediatric orthopedics. The high volume spine surgery center performs nearly 11,000 orthopedic procedures annually.
