Quantum installs DR systems

Quantum Medical Imaging of Ronkonkoma, N.Y. has implemented a total of three Direct Digital Imaging systems at Indiana-based Indianapolis Orthopedic Hospital.

The facility selected two of Quantum's new Q-Rad-DIGITAL systems, which included the dual Canon DR Receptor system. The systems were further enhanced by the inclusion of Canon's 9-inch x 11-inch Portable DR Receptor, for off-table imaging. In addition, they selected Quantum's QV-800 Universal- DIGITAL system, which is a single DR Receptor system, using a C-Arm type design with variable SID.

The Indianapolis Orthopedics Group already has six Quantum Radiographic systems, installed throughout their various clinics within Indiana.

The sale and installation was facilitated by Radiation Services of Indiana.
