Quantum selected for Conn. hospital installation

Medical equipment manufacturer Quantum Medical Imaging has completed installation of its Q-Rad radiographic system, featuring a Canon’s Medical System’s dual-panel DR receptor system at New Britain General Hospital in New Britain, Conn.

The Ronkonkoma, N.Y.-based company said the product purchase includes its TechVision device, offering two-way generator integration and image preview capabilities, which allows the technologist to remain by the patient for positioning.
