Raypax completes PACS installation

Raypax Inc. North America (Altadena, Calif.) recently finished work at MRI Imaging Center, of Fresno, Calif., on a PACS (picture archiving and communications system) installation.

MRI Imaging Center now will provide radiology services to rural communities of central California. Referring physicians will be able to view the exams on the Web or access the exam by requesting the CD copy of the exam when a patient returns from MRI Imaging Center.

Raypax's products include its PACS with an average 4:1 compression ratio, along with an integrated radiology information system (RIS) and Web server combination.
