Sectra Radiology PACS being use for cardiology too

Rikshospitalet a university hospital in Norway has successfully installed Sectra PACS for both its cardiology and radiology operations. Rikshospitalet has a great deal of specialization and is the Norwegian national center for organ transplantation, in addition to being a major cardiology center for both children and adults, Sectra said.

Through Sectra PACS, the hospital's cardiologists have access to all images taken at the hospital, including images from CT, MR and ultrasound among others. The single platform enables the integration of radiology and cardiology, two departments where radiology images are used most frequently within hospitals.

The Sectra PACS extension module for cardiology works with all Sectra PACS installations, and can be obtained from Sectra and from some of our partners.
