Sectra scores Norwegian RIS/PACS deal

Sectra has inked a a six-year partnership agreement for its products and services with Norwegian radiology provider Curato.

Sectra said it will assume responsibility for the operation of Curato’s IT systems and will supply Sectra RIS/PACS to all 12 of Curato’s radiology clinics. Curato and Sectra will also conduct join research products with the goal of further improving image diagnostics.

“Increasingly, customers are seeking a supplier that assumes total responsibility for the installation and operation of all IT systems at their clinics,” said Torbjörn Kronander, president of Linkoping, Sweden-based Sectra. “This agreement confirms our ability to serve as a complete supplier of large-scale and complex IT solutions for the healthcare sector.”
