Sectra signs PACS deal with Portuguese oncology institute

Sectra has signed an agreement with Instituto Portugûes de Oncologia do Porto Francisco Gentil, Portugal, for Sectra’s PACS products and services.

The diagnostic imaging operations at the institute are distributed across eight departments including the radiology, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, pneumology and gynecology departments.

The institute plans to integrate all areas of diagnostic imaging with Sectra’s products and services, while increasing workflow efficiencies and providing radiologists with instant access to images and information regardless of location, according to the Linköping, Sweden-based company.

IPO Porto Francisco Gentil performs approximately 85,000 radiology examinations annually.
