Siemens equips Raleigh radiology center

Siemens Medical Solutions has installed its Magnetom Espree, an open-bore 1.5-Tesla MRI system at Raleigh Radiology Cedarhurst in N.C.

Raleigh Radiology Cedarhurst is a full-service, multi-modality outpatient clinic that consists of 20 radiologists.

The Magnetom Espree features a bore opening of nearly 2.3 feet in diameter and almost one foot of free space between a patient’s head and the magnet, which allows its utilization for obese and claustrophobic patients according to Siemens.
