Siemens nets Cape Cod HIS deal

Cape Cod Healthcare, a healthcare system consisting of two hospitals, more than 450 physicians and multiple health programs in Cape Cod, Mass., has signed a seven-year contract with Siemens Healthcare for the implementation of its health information system (HIS), Soarian.

The agreement includes Soarian Clinicals, Financials, Device Connect, Scheduling, and Analytics, along with Novius Lab and Radiology, Siemens Pharmacy and Med Administration Check, according to the company. The installations should be near completion by 2011, said Siemens.
