SRSsoft scores hybrid EMR installs for Penn. heart group

The Heart Group, a large cardiology group located in Lancaster, Pa., has selected the SRS hybrid EMR from SRSsoft for its 37 providers.

Shelvy Frank, chief operating officer of The Heart Group, said that the group selected the SRS hybrid EMR based on peer recommendations. “We are confident that SRS will not only meet our current needs, but it will also position us to respond to future requirements and opportunities,” Frank said.

The SRS hybrid EMR is equipped with OpenPath technology, which allows for the interconnection of various applications, according to Michael Deeley, chief technology officer of The Heart Group.
