Sunquest sees New Orleans placement

Sunquest Information Systems of Tucson, Ariz., reported that Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, a 201-bed pediatric facility, will replace its existing laboratory information system (LIS) with Sunquest Laboratory.

The $1.4 million system will enable clinicians to provide better care to their patients through enhanced laboratory diagnostic capabilities and instant access to critical lab data from any location via the web, the company said.
