Swedish University Hospital chooses Barco displays

Barco has received an order to supply Coronis Fusion 6 megapixel DL display systems to the University Hospital of Danderyd in Sweden.

The installation of the PACS displays permits radiologists to read both color and grayscale studies on a single multi-modality PACS display system, according to the company. The new display has been supplied through Barco's partner Dell in Upplands Vaesby, Sweden.

The University Hospital of Danderyd is a 536-bed facility located to the north of Stockholm, which focuses primarily on internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, rehabilitation medicine, surgery, urology, obstetrics and gynecology. Every year, the hospital performs about 92,400 x-ray exams and 17,200 mammography screenings.
