Texas hospital taps Digisonics for enterprise management system

Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas, has ordered Digisonics’ Enterprise Image Management & Reporting System to provide the hospital with digital imaging, professional reporting and configurable clinical database software applications for cardiology, OB/GYN and general ultrasound.

The facility chose to implement DigiNet Pro for access to imaging, reporting and clinical database capabilities and OB-ViewNet for the OB/GYN department to provide connectivity for reviewing images, editing reports and performing fetal growth analysis, according to the Houston-based company.

In addition, medical information will be transmitted via HL7 interfaces for Order-In/Results-Out with the site’s Opus Healthcare Solutions' EMR, Digisonics said.
