Texas medical center to go with McKesson PACS

St. Mark’s Medical Center in LaGrange, Texas, has selected McKesson’s Horizon Medical Imaging PACS to replace its legacy system.

The hospital also selected the Horizon Medical Imaging Mammography Plus from McKesson to handle reading and diagnosis of digital mammography images, according to the San Francisco-based healthcare IT company. With the new systems, patients’ current and historical images as well as radiologists’ reports will be embedded within the medical record.
