Three academic medical centers choose eHealth Global
Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System, the University of Michigan Health System, and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences have selected the eHealthConnect service from eHealth Global to streamline medical records management in the solid organ transplant departments within each facility.
eHealthConnect provides medical records and imaging study collection by eHealth’s clinical customer support team for patients that are referred to these facilities. The records and images are then digitized and made accessible to these institutions through a secure delivery method of their choice, according to the Rochester, N.Y.-based company.
Transplant programs have a critical need to gather prior patient pathology, lab and radiology reports and images to support the process for a patient’s organ transplantation listing. eHealthConnect helps facilities obtain medical records in a timelier manner for patient evaluation and subsequent listing, said Michael Margiotta, CEO of eHealth Global.
