TomoTherapy scores China install

TomoTherapy, a provider of radiation therapy systems, has installed a Hi·Art treatment system at PLA General Hospital in Beijing, which serves the military, government and civilian populations with 2.5 million outpatient visits annually.

The Hi·Art treatment systems combine integrated CT imaging with helical intensity-modulated radiation therapy to deliver radiation treatments with speed and precision, according to the Madison, Wis.-based TomoTherapy.

The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sept. 17.
