Transolutions selects M*Modal for speech understanding technology
Transolutions and M*Modal have entered an agreement to offer integrated services to Transolutions’ transcription clients, in an effort to streamline the ability to share patient data by bringing structured and encoded data from dictation into EHRs.
M*Modal’s on-demand conversational documentation service, AnyModal CDS, combines speech recognition and natural language understanding to capture and comprehend clinical information from dictation, transforming it directly into accessible, retrievable and shareable electronic files. The actionable data integrates into existing EHRs and allows for advanced functions not currently possible with conventional transcribed text reports, according to the Pittsburgh, Pa.-based company.
Transolutions’ transcription services are available to healthcare organizations through a variety of delivery systems. By following HL7 CDA reporting standards, AnyModal CDS data can be accessed, edited and reviewed across departments through a number of flexible formats and shared between multi-vendor healthcare practitioners and facilities, M*Modal said.
