US Oncology installs VitalWorks' RadConnect RIS

US Oncology has selected VitalWorks Inc. as a provider of radiology information systems (RIS) and has implemented RadConnect RIS at their Texas Oncology P.A. location in Dallas.

RadConnect RIS is VitalWorks' latest Java and browser-based RIS.

The Dallas site is served by 31 radiologists and includes CT, positron emission tomography (PET), nuclear medicine and x-ray.

US Oncology is the nation's largest healthcare services network devoted exclusively to cancer treatment and research. Its network includes more than 450 sites, including 78 cancer centers, in 30 states.
