Wolters Kluwer nets ProVation install at Southwest medical center

Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center (SMRMC) has selected Wolters Kluwer Health’s ProVation Order Sets, powered by UpToDate Decision Support, as its electronic order set application.

Located in McComb, Miss., the 160-bed SMRMC is part of Southwest Health System, serving more than 170,000 residents of southwest Mississippi and eastern Louisiana.

According to the Minneapolis-based Wolters Kluwer, ProVation Order Sets serve as an authorizing and management tool for integration into clinical processes to deliver standardized care for patient safety, outcomes, clinician performance and regulatory compliance. For SMRMC to achieve automation, ProVation Order Sets feature vendor-neutral mapping and export capabilities, the company added.
