W.V. United Health Systems extends Zonare ultrasound contract

Zonare Medical Systems has signed an agreement with West Virginia United Health System (WVUHS), for the purchase and installation of 12 z.one ultrasound systems in 2008.

The agreement extends over the next four years, a previous contract with WVUHS, which included seven previously installed systems in various clinical settings including anesthesiology, emergency medicine, interventional radiology and maternal fetal medicine, and adds five additional systems within the health system.

WVUHS is the largest healthcare system based in West Virginia, said Zonare, and includes West Virginia University Hospitals, United Physicians Care and WVU Cheat Lake Physicians.
