AAMI celebrates appreciation week

This year’s annual National Biomedical/Clinical Engineering Appreciation Week will be held May 22-28.

To celebrate, the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and its Technology Management Council (TMC) will hold daily special events in honor of the important work of healthcare technology management professionals.

The week will feature an introductory message from AAMI President Mary Logan along with two free webinars. The first, a discussion on the future of healthcare technology management, will be followed by a more formal presentation titled "Helpful Strategies to Advance Your Career and Profession."

The week concludes with an awards ceremony, where the winner of the 2011 AAMI/GE Healthcare Biomedical Equipment Technician of the Year Award will be announced.
