AccuSoft releases updates of ImageGear

Northborough, Mass.-based AccuSoft Corp. has launched new versions of its ImageGear imaging toolkit - ImageGear Professional Edition v. 13 and ImageGear Enterprise Edition, v. 13. Enhancements to the toolkit include integration of the Abode PDF library.

 The company also announced improvements in file format handling, compression and performance, including OpenGL-based rendering for CAD (computer-aided detection) documents, improved CGM file support, and JPEG2000 read/write support for DICOM medical images within the new release of AccuSoft's ImageGear MD toolkit for medical applications.

 Previously available on Windows, the toolkit will now be offered for the fast growing Linux platform.  ImageGear MD for Linux is available immediately through AccuSoft, with pricing starting at $4,995.
