ACR selects Perlman as CMO for Image Metrix

The American College of Radiology (ACR) has named Eric S. Perlman, MD, the chief medical officer (CMO) of ACR Image Metrix, a contract research organization and for-profit subsidiary of the ACR.

Perlman is a medical imaging contract research veteran with more than two decades of experience in radiology. He is the former chief scientific officer and vice president of molecular imaging for RadPharm, one of the nation’s first imaging contract research organizations.

Perlman was previously a clinical radiologist with Princeton Radiologist Associates in Princeton, N.J., where he led the establishment of the practice’s PET imaging services. He also participates in the Radiological Society of North America’s Quantitative Imaging Biomarkers Alliance and American Healthcare Research Quality activities.

ACR Image Metrix provides imaging services for clinical trials from Phase I through Phase IV.
